Out of the Paper

Snap the drawing lying on the table, and the character peels off the paper and runs around the real table as a little paper figure.

What you need

One or two characters

In the middle of the page, drawn big with a clear outline — they peel off better.

Photograph it on the table

Get the table and the pencils or cup next to it in the shot, so the character has somewhere to run.

No cropping, no coloring

Use the whole photo as it is. Cropping or coloring it would lose the real table.

How it works

  1. 1Draw one or two characters in the middle of the page, big and with a clear outline

  2. 2Put the drawing on the table and photograph it with the table around it, then upload it as is — no cropping, no coloring

  3. 3Tap “Make one like this”: settings and description are filled in, so just generate your 10-second video

See the description we fill in

The character peels off the paper as if cut out and stood up: a thin paper cutout with a white border, lines, colors and face exactly as the child drew them. Palm-sized, it hops onto the real desk, runs to the nearest object and plays with whatever is there: hides and peeks, climbs on or pushes it so it wobbles, startles, waves, then jumps back into the drawing. Real handheld phone footage.

“Make one like this” fills it in for you, and you can change it.

FAQ

Why shouldn't I crop to the paper?

The character needs the real table to run out onto. Cropped to the paper, it's just a drawing with no real world around it.

Should I color it first?

No. Coloring redraws the whole photo, so the table would become a drawing too. Use the original photo — for a colorful character, let your child color it on paper before you snap it.

What drawings work best?

One or two characters with clear outlines in the middle of the page. Leave some empty table around the paper so the character has room to run.
